Design Work Do you already have a logo, or are we starting from scratch? If you’ve got a professional, vector-based logo file—great! If you only have a screenshot, photo, png or jpeg, we may need to recreate it before we can even begin designing your sign. 2. Materials Signs can be made from a huge range of materials—aluminum, acrylic, vinyl, wood, metal, illuminated or non-illuminated, just to name a few. Each one comes with its own price point, durability, and installation needs. We’ll walk you through the best options based on your location, goals, and budget. 3. Size and Complexity Bigger signs typically mean more material, more labor, and sometimes, more permits. And the more complex your design or installation, the more time and resources it takes. 4. Site Survey In many cases, we’ll need to come to your location and do a survey. Is the surface flat or textured? Will the sign be mounted high up or at street level? Are there power sources nearby? All of these details help us build an accurate estimate and plan for installation. 5. Installation Needs Will we need a ladder… or a lift? Are we drilling into brick, stucco, or metal siding? Does the installation require city permits or landlord approval?
