European Auto Repair Building Sign for Northeast Euro in Middlefield, CT

European Auto Repair Building Sign for Northeast Euro in Middlefield, CT

Sep 14, 2026 by

Northeast Euro needed a sign that instantly linked its shop to European automotive service. Signarama Newington designed and installed a large exterior panel at its Middlefield, Connecticut location. The sign features the Northeast Euro name, “European Service & Repair,” contact details, and European vehicle symbols all in one vibrant display. Positioned high on the building, it provides a clear point of reference for customers. The design reflects Northeast Euro’s identity, with sharp lettering that conveys performance. White text stands out against a charcoal background, and red accents add energy without clutter. The sign's layout highlights the business name and service offerings, crucial for specialized automotive shops. Supporting details, including social media and website info, are smaller and secondary. Given the property's visibility challenges, the sign was installed above landscaping to ensure recognition from afar. Its rectangular shape complements the building's architecture, keeping the design organized. The sign's layout is effective at varying distances; drivers see the prominent name first, and as they approach, they easily read the service description and additional details. European vehicle symbols quickly indicate the shop's specialty. Installation required precision to ensure the sign was level and secure. Positioned well above the entrance and shrubs, it transforms the building's appearance into a strong identifier for the business. For automotive shops often challenged by visibility, a prominent wall panel enhances brand recognition. Northeast Euro's new sign establishes a clear connection to its European automotive focus, aiding customer identification. Signarama Newington managed the sign's design and installation, enhancing the shop’s professional exterior while emphasizing its service specialty. We offer a range of signage solutions throughout Central Connecticut tailored to business needs.

Illuminated Motel 6 Lightbox Sign Face in Old Saybrook, CT

Illuminated Motel 6 Lightbox Sign Face in Old Saybrook, CT

Sep 14, 2026 by

A clear entrance sign is crucial for a hotel opening under a new brand. It helps guests quickly identify the property, whether during the day or late at night. Signarama Newington created a new illuminated lightbox sign for the Motel 6 in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Positioned above the entrance, the sign showcases Motel 6’s colors and logo within the existing cabinet. Instead of replacing the entire cabinet, the project updated the sign face, making it a cost-effective solution during ownership or branding changes. Precise measurements ensured a secure fit, avoiding installation issues. An illuminated sign must perform well in daylight and darkness. The Motel 6 design features a vivid blue background, white lettering, and an oversized red number six, maintaining strong visibility. The sign's placement directly above the doors offers clear identification, crucial for guests arriving at night or in poor weather. The silver frame complements the entrance, enhancing brand recognition. Rebranding often necessitates more than one sign update. When existing cabinets are structurally sound, updating just the face is efficient and cost-effective for various businesses, including hotels and restaurants. Signarama Newington handled the Motel 6 update, ensuring clear visibility day and night. We offer lightbox faces, illuminated sign graphics, and more throughout Connecticut, making rebranding seamless for businesses. The new sign enhances guest identification for the Old Saybrook Motel 6.

Pet Meadow Wall Graphics Installation in Middletown, CT

Sep 14, 2026 by

Branding within a workplace must adapt to its surroundings. This challenge shaped the graphics installation for Pet Meadow in Middletown, Connecticut, executed by Signarama Newington. The Pet Meadow identity was strategically placed in three areas: a green logo on a light wall, a white logo on a deep-green feature wall, and white vinyl lettering on the glass entrance door. Each application maintains the recognizable tree-and-pets image while adjusting color and scale to fit its background. The detailed logo features a tree canopy, pet silhouettes, and a sun. Each element must be carefully handled during installation to ensure proper alignment and readability. On the light wall, the green graphic creates a serene focal point, while the white version on the green wall contrasts sharply, enhancing visibility. The entrance door showcases a third version of the logo along with essential visitor information. The white vinyl is designed to stand out against reflections and darker surroundings, ensuring clarity. Together, these graphics establish a cohesive branding system that enhances the space without necessitating major alterations. This project exemplifies the precision required for detailed logos and functional signage. Dimensional Letter Sign for Strand Salon in Glastonbury, CT

Dimensional Letter Sign for Strand Salon in Glastonbury, CT

Sep 14, 2026 by

For a salon, exterior signage should enhance the customer experience, presenting the business's personality before guests even enter. Signarama Newington crafted dimensional lettering for Strand Salon in Glastonbury, Connecticut, featuring elegant individual letters on the building’s dark upper façade. This refined design creates a polished storefront identity that aligns perfectly with the salon's upscale vibe. The Strand Salon name is showcased in a classic serif typeface, with bright metallic letters that contrast beautifully against the matte-black background. The individual characters create subtle shadow lines, adding visual depth that flat lettering lacks. Strategically placed within the upper sign band, the lettering avoids the bustling brickwork below, ensuring clear visibility while maintaining an elegant appearance. Careful spacing ensures the name is readable from afar, with a balanced layout across the sign. Our installation team executed a precise mounting process, ensuring each letter is aligned for a seamless look when viewed from the parking area and Main Street. The absence of a background panel integrates the sign with the building architecture, focusing attention on Strand Salon. Strand Salon is also featured on a monument sign at 2800 Main Street, enhancing visibility and creating a cohesive identification system for visitors. This project demonstrates how the right signage elements can ensure visibility while preserving an upscale look. Signarama Newington specializes in dimensional letters, storefront signs, and more, offering complete installation services for businesses throughout Glastonbury and Central Connecticut.

Monument Sign at 2800 Main Street in Glastonbury, CT

Monument Sign at 2800 Main Street in Glastonbury, CT

Sep 14, 2026 by

A monument sign must accomplish several things at once: identify the property, help visitors recognize the businesses located there, remain readable from the road, and complement the architecture surrounding it. At 2800 Main Street in Glastonbury, Connecticut, Signarama Newington managed the complete monument signage project—from the initial design and municipal permitting through fabrication and final installation. The completed structure features a refined black-and-silver color combination, individual tenant panels, and large vertical address numbers. Its modern appearance creates a distinct identity for the property while providing practical roadside visibility for Strand Salon and STLTH. A Complete Sign Project From Concept to Installation Ground signs involve more planning than signs mounted directly to a storefront. The location, overall dimensions, visibility, setbacks, underground conditions, property lines, landscaping, and local sign regulations must all be considered before fabrication can begin. Our involvement started with the monument’s design. The objective was to create a structure that would look appropriate for the Main Street property while keeping the tenant names and street address easy to recognize. The narrow vertical format gives the sign a contemporary architectural profile without making it feel oversized for the surrounding area. After the design direction was established, Signarama Newington handled the permitting process with the Town of Glastonbury. This step is essential for permanent freestanding signage because municipal approval may depend on the sign’s dimensions, placement, height, distance from the roadway, and compliance with local zoning requirements. By coordinating the design with permit requirements before fabrication, the project could move forward with a clear and approved plan. A Modern Multi-Tenant Monument Sign The primary face uses a deep black finish, creating an elegant background for the tenant identification. Separate framed panels give each business its own designated area while maintaining a unified appearance for the property. The sign currently identifies Strand Salon and STLTH, with an additional panel available for another tenant. This modular approach allows the property’s tenant information to remain organized and makes future updates more manageable than redesigning the entire structure. A contrasting silver side panel carries the street number 2800 in large, vertically arranged dimensional numerals. Making the address part of the architecture helps drivers confirm the location even before they read the individual tenant names. The black, white, and metallic tones create a sophisticated appearance that suits the businesses occupying the property. At the same time, the strong contrast supports readability from Main Street. Fabricated for a Specific Property This monument was not selected as an off-the-shelf frame with a generic panel added afterward. Its proportions, exterior finishes, address treatment, tenant-panel arrangement, and overall presentation were developed for the site at 2800 Main Street. During fabrication, the individual components had to come together accurately so the finished structure would remain square, balanced, and visually consistent. The tenant panels, dimensional address numbers, exterior cladding, and supporting structure all contribute to the sign’s completed architectural appearance. Careful fabrication is particularly important for a design that relies on clean lines and minimal ornamentation. When a monument has a restrained visual style, alignment, spacing, panel placement, and finishing details become much more noticeable. Installation Along Main Street in Glastonbury Final installation required accurate positioning and secure placement at the approved location. A freestanding sign must be installed with consideration for its foundation, surrounding grade, landscaping, roadside sightlines, and exposure to Connecticut weather. The sign was positioned to communicate effectively with traffic while remaining integrated into the property. Once installed, the structure provides a clear progression of information: the property address is visible vertically, while the tenant panels identify the businesses located at the site. Its placement near a signalized Main Street intersection gives the participating businesses valuable exposure while helping customers locate the entrance. Monument Sign Services From Signarama Newington This Glastonbury project represents the full scope of services Signarama Newington can coordinate for permanent exterior business signage: Site-specific sign design Landlord and property coordination Zoning and permit preparation Municipal submission and follow-up Architectural sign fabrication Tenant identification panels Dimensional address numbers Foundation and ground installation Future tenant-panel updates Managing these stages through one sign company helps maintain consistency between the approved drawing and the final installed structure. It also gives the property owner a single point of contact throughout the project. The monument sign at 2800 Main Street now provides the property with a strong visual identity, organized tenant recognition, and clear address visibility. We were proud to carry this Glastonbury signage project from the first design concept through permitting, fabrication, and installation.

Exterior Business Signs for Brew Lab Café in Wethersfield, CT

Sep 14, 2026 by

A busy commercial plaza demands clear recognition from multiple directions. Brew Lab Café in Wethersfield, Connecticut, partnered with Signarama Newington for a signage project that enhances visibility at both the roadside and storefront. The project features a prominent roadside identification panel and dimensional storefront lettering, both showcasing the café’s unique wordmark with a laboratory-flask graphic. This consistent black-and-white design links the two signs, making the café easily recognizable. The roadside sign uses bold black letters on a bright white background, ensuring quick recognition for passing drivers. The name dominates the panel, with "CAFÉ" clearly beneath it, immediately indicating the business type. The flask symbol adds a memorable touch while maintaining readability for drivers. Once customers enter the plaza, the dimensional letters above the entrance confirm they’ve found Brew Lab Café. This raised lettering mirrors the roadside branding, creating visual depth and strong contrast against the building. Positioned for easy visibility, it complements the café’s architecture without overwhelming it.
