Framed Directional Signs for Terravian Landscaping
Sep 14, 2026 by
For landscaping crews, clear directions at a property can prevent delays before the work even begins. Terravian Landscaping needed a set of branded directional signs that could guide drivers, crews, customers, and deliveries while maintaining the company’s professional image.
Signarama Newington produced three portable signs using white graphic panels secured inside black metal ground frames. Two signs include directional arrows—one pointing straight ahead and another directing traffic to the right—while the third provides additional brand visibility with the Terravian Landscaping logo.
Directional Signs That Still Represent the Brand
Temporary wayfinding signs are often treated as purely functional, but they are also visible representations of the business using them. Terravian Landscaping’s signs were created around the company’s established green-and-brown color palette, leaf-and-shovel logo, and recognizable typography.
The white background creates strong contrast against the darker lettering and graphics, helping the signs remain noticeable outdoors. The directional arrows are large and intentionally simple, allowing people to understand the route quickly as they approach.
Rather than filling each panel with excessive information, the design gives the Terravian Landscaping name, logo, and arrow enough open space to remain legible. This is particularly important for roadside and property entrance signs, where viewers may only have a moment to recognize the message and respond.
Built for Flexible Placement at Landscaping Projects
The black metal frames allow the signs to be placed directly into suitable ground without requiring permanent posts or foundations. Terravian Landscaping can reposition them based on the entrance, driveway configuration, parking arrangement, or work area at each project.
One arrow can guide visitors straight ahead, while the second can identify a right turn. The logo sign can be positioned near the property entrance, work zone, consultation area, or another visible location. Used together, the three signs create a simple wayfinding system that can adapt to different properties.
This type of portable directional signage is valuable for landscaping and construction companies because every site has a different layout. A permanent sign may work at an office, but mobile service businesses also need signage that can travel to project locations. Framed ground signs provide that flexibility while looking more professional than handwritten instructions or unbranded temporary markers.
Improving Site Navigation and Business Visibility
Clear property directions can reduce confusion when multiple entrances, long driveways, large grounds, or active work zones are involved. Visitors know where to turn, crews can locate the correct access point, and deliveries can reach the intended area more efficiently.
At the same time, the signs identify Terravian Landscaping as the company working at the property. This creates useful local exposure in neighborhoods and commercial areas where nearby property owners may already be considering landscaping, hardscaping, lawn care, planting, or outdoor improvement services.
The branding does not compete with the directional message. Instead, both elements work together: the arrow communicates where to go, while the logo communicates who is responsible for the work.

This project shows how a relatively compact signage package can solve two practical needs—site navigation and brand recognition. Terravian Landscaping now has a coordinated group of framed signs that can be reused across different projects and arranged according to each site.
Signarama Newington produces branded directional signs, metal-frame ground signs, contractor site signage, real estate signs, yard signs, parking signs, entrance markers, jobsite identification signs, and temporary wayfinding systems for businesses throughout Connecticut.
