We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of a brand new salon, a venture backed by an already impressive foundation marked by an existing monument sign. This strong visual anchor provides great visibility and brand recognition, but we knew there was an opportunity to elevate the salon’s presence even further, and we were ecstatic to be part of that transformation.<br />Our team utilized in-house fabricated dimensional letters to craft a polished and sophisticated sign that seamlessly aligns with the luxurious aesthetic envisioned by the salon’s owner. This monument sign for Cater’s Lake in Anderson, SC was designed and fabricated to complement the natural setting of the park while providing durable, long-term identification for the space. The cabinet is constructed from CorTen weathering steel, selected for its distinctive oxidized patina and long-term resistance to corrosion. CorTen forms a stable rust-like protective layer that eliminates the need for paint while developing a rich, natural finish that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Dimensional lettering is precision-cut and mounted to the CorTen panel to create strong contrast and legibility against the weathered steel surface. The cabinet is mounted to a stacked natural stone monument base, providing structural stability and reinforcing the park’s organic design aesthetic. The result is a monument that balances architectural durability, natural materials, and clean design, creating a welcoming landmark that reflects the character of Cater’s Lake and the City of Anderson.
