All graphics are applied by skilled applicators, who have completed an advanced level of training. We apply a UV over-laminate to our digitally printed vehicle graphics to protect the film from UV, weather, and abrasion.

How the Vehicle Wrap Process Works at Signarama Fond du Lac
The vehicle wrap process is designed to be simple, professional, and efficient from start to finish. While Signarama Fond du Lac has an extensive library of vehicle templates, we begin by photographing and measuring your specific car to ensure complete accuracy. During a design consultation, you can meet with our team to discuss goals, branding, and layout options so we fully understand your vision before work begins. Once we confirm your project details, we provide a clear written quote outlining the scope of work. A 50% deposit is typically required to move your project into production. From there, our graphic designers begin crafting your wrap using your vector logo in EPS or AI format; if needed, we can redraw your logo for an additional fee. Your design is created on the exact template for your vehicle and then sent to you for review, feedback, and approval. After the design is finalized, your project enters the production queue for printing and installation. Our installation team will reach out to schedule a convenient time for you to drop off your vehicle. Most wraps require your car to remain with us for one to two days to allow for proper preparation, application, and finishing. Once completed, we’ll notify you that your newly wrapped vehicle is ready for pickup, fully transformed and ready to turn heads wherever you go.
What You Should Do to Prepare Your Vehicle for a Wrap
Preparing your vehicle properly is essential to achieving a smooth, professional vinyl wrap. Because vinyl film acts like a thin skin over your car, any imperfections, such as dirt, rough patches, or surface damage, will show through once the wrap is applied. That’s why it’s important to bring your vehicle to Signarama Fond du Lac in a clean, ready-to-wrap condition. Before your appointment, thoroughly wash your vehicle to remove wax, oils, and road grime, and address any rust spots whenever possible. If your vehicle already has graphics or decals that you’re not hiring us to remove, they, and all adhesive residue, must be completely removed beforehand. Even when a vehicle arrives clean, our installation team will still prepare the surface using specialized cleaners to ensure the vinyl adheres properly and maintains a long-lasting finish. Please note that if your vehicle’s paint is in poor condition or has been previously repainted, we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during the application process. Proper surface preparation helps ensure the best possible result and allows your new wrap to look its absolute best.
