How We Work: Our Process to Create your Custom Signs and Graphics for Your Business

The Discovery Phase: We are a full-service custom sign company and our process starts with you - by listening to your business needs and understanding what are imperatives and understanding what are good to haves. These may include understanding from your business objectives - it may be starting a new business, building your brand, improving your storefront visibility, promoting your seasonal offers or even improving navigational efficiencies for your tenants. We invest the time to understand the business problems you are trying to solve for before anything begins. The Research Phase: The net step is for us to have a discussion with you on important information we need to consider to come up with the right solution in order to design, manufacture and install your custom-made signs. This may include a discussion on signage sizing, design requirements, colors and finishing, material preferences or options, durability, installation requirements (dependent on your landlord requirements or city requirements), how to plan to use your signs (one-time use or permanent, portability, reusability etc...), when you need your signs and your budgetary requirements. Because, we custom-make all signs, we have many various options that we can use and we use this discussion to inform the design, manufacturing, permitting and installation methods for your sign that will best fit your needs. This step also typically includes a site survey by us to best determine dimensions, materials, manufacturing methods, access and installation methods. During the site survey, we will also be taking photos of the installation location that we will use to confirm your signage location and will also typically include these photos into our pre-production proofs. The Quoting and Proofing Phase: Once these have been decided, we will be able to put together an estimate for your consideration and approval, which will be soon followed by our pre-production proof. Proofs are important as it will document all the discussions that we have about your signage requirements and will also visually show how your sign will look it is intended location(s). During the Proof Phase, you will be able to make the necessary changes to design, copy, colors, layouts, etc... Our proofing process will allow for three (3) opportunities to make changes so you will have ample opportunities to make design changes to your satisfaction. Your approval for the proofs will be necessary before our manufacturing or production process begins. In situations where sign permitting is required, sign permit applications will also begin during this phase - and once sign permits have been approved and issued by the city, our manufacturing process will begin. The Manufacturing Phase: Upon approval of the pre-production proofs and/or permit issuance, the manufacturing and production of your custom-made signs will begin. Depending on the type of signage, production can range for 1-day turnaround (e.g. cut vinyl, single-colored decals etc...), 2-day (e.g. full color banners) to a few weeks (illuminated channel letters requiring dedicated sign circuits). We will keep you inform throughout the manufacturing process to keep you informed. The Completion Phase: As we approach manufacturing and/or production-completion, we will circle back with you to inform you on the status of your order and/or to begin coordinating the installation schedule that will work for you and your business. Information obtained during the "Research" Phase will inform our schedule planning with you and what is required to ensure we have access for installation. For signs due for pickup, we will also pre-package your signs for pickup from our store that will help you with transporting your sign. Upon full payment, our front office team will be sending you a fully-paid work order for your records and we will respectfully request for a Google Review for us to learn from your experience in working with us. The Closing Phase: Typically required for illuminated signage needing sign permitting with the cities, after installation of your illuminated signage, we will begin coordinating with the city for the final inspection of your installed sign and closing out your sign permit application.
