City of Tukwila Welcomes the World Cup with Art by Jean Bradbury - Tukwila, WA

Installed along Tukwila’s Green River Trail, the colorful, larger‑than‑life panels showcase kids, families, and neighbors of all ages and abilities playing together—capturing the spirit of “Tukwila United” just as global fans arrive for World Cup action at Lumen Field. For this project, Signarama Redmond partnered with Bradbury and the City of Tukwila to translate her joyful, hand‑painted designs into durable, full‑color outdoor displays that can stand up to Pacific Northwest weather while still popping in photos and social media posts. Each cut‑out silhouette and curved panel was produced using high‑resolution digital printing and precision cutting, then installed on a custom support system to ensure stability and safety along the busy pedestrian corridor. Seen up close, you’ll notice greetings like “Tukwila United” rendered in multiple languages, reflecting Tukwila’s internationally diverse community and echoing the global spirit of the World Cup. As fans travel between Redmond, Tukwila, and downtown Seattle for the six World Cup 26™ matches, this installation offers a powerful reminder that soccer is ultimately about connection, creativity, and play.
