Take a peek at what our installers were up to this past week! We have been working on the installation of a restored sign for the T.N. North & Son Bank in the Historical Crossroads Village for Genesee County Parks. Just like architecture, building signs have also changed their style throughout the years. This restoration project shows how important it can be to keep the heart of the building alive through the look of their signage and decorative elements.

Check out this sign facelift with us! We recently updated two monument signs in Troy on 5440 Corporate Drive for Liberty Property and Asset Management. Their original signs were mounted on a large concrete base, and the box was showing wear and tear. We updated their base with a fresh coat of paint, and installed new box signs we fabricated in house at our Flint location. The final product is a bold and modern take on a multi-tenant monument sign that will last this plaza for years to come!

Frost Middle School decided to accomplish better safety and a cool style at the same time thanks to their newly installed window perf on their school doors! Window perf is a perforated vinyl material with a black backer, which allows you to clearly see from the inside looking out, while blocking the view from undesired peepers on the outside. It comes in different levels of visibility: from 50/50 (usually used for the back of vehicles), to 80/20. For Frost Middle School we used a 70/30, which insured good shielding and visibility at the same time. Another fun project we made for Frost was an awe-inspiring wall mural. It was printed on cinder block vinyl which allows the design to look like it was painted on the wall, thanks to the flexibility of the material filling all the bricks' grooves. The wall mural represented two big falcon wings spread wide open, so that kids can take photos in front of them and immediately "transform" into their school's mascot! What an inspiring and fun project!

Directional signage can be an extremely effective tool to help with navigation, that is why having good signage is needed within medical offices. We just finished outfitting one of our long standing clients - Insight Institute - with a new set of wayfinding signage in their Dearborn location. Over the past years of working together, we've built a cohesive, clean, and visible sign voice that is instantly recognizable. Their brushed finish elevates their space, from the directional flag signs to their reception desk, a sign style which carries over from their other locations we've worked on in the past.

We would like to highlight our Design Team Leader Audra for celebrating her 6 year work-anniversary at Signarama! Audra has brought her creativity, laughs and positive attitude to the team and we are thankful she's a part of it.

You know what they say, when the bones are good, the rest don't matter! Sometimes giving your sign an update can be just as effective as getting a replacement. Check out this sign refresh we did for Ivy House, a local non-profit with years of established identity in the community. Their street sign was still in good condition, and with these new sign panels their sign looks good as new!

We would like to highlight our owner, Beth Powers, for getting her Electric Sign Specialist License! She is 1 of only 5 women in the state of Michigan to have this license.

Walk around your business and ask yourself this question, is there a space that looks a little plain, where you can highlight your brand identity? With smart and effect signage solutions, you can transform your interiors into a focal point that supports your brand and business that stands out to anybody walking through that door. High Gloss Acrylic Panels: These signs elevate a simple gallery wall that will catch the eye of anyone walking by. With their brushed stand-offs, the panels are removable, allowing you the option to replace or update them over time. Blue Accent Wall: Thinking ahead on placing accent walls can be so important when designing your space. These can make a great backdrop for any additional signage and break up the dreaded four white wall style of most offices. PVC Tagline & Vinyl Emblem: Don't be afraid to play with depth! Breaking apart elements in your logo into different parts is a great way to portray your brand without pasting your usual logo on every wall until it becomes redundant. Even using your mission statement or tagline in a new way will make people notice and keep your identity fresh in their mind. Lagarda Security is a long standing customer with Signarama Novi & Flint and we were proud to work with them yet again on their interior lobby signage. A high quality business needs to give a high quality first impression from their lobby! Especially after rebranding. And that's what Quest decided to do: elevate their brand with some stunning wall wraps and a lobby sign. The main wall wrap has a beautiful gradient effect to blend into the wall perfectly. In order to achieve that, we printed on a clear material fading the design from color to clear and the result was fantastic! The lobby sign includes acrylic dimensional letters and logo. Having dimensional elements on your lobby sign helps to create a visual pop making their new fabulous logo stand out even more. This project will definitely be a showstopper for years to come!
