Dimensional Letters Colorado Springs: Custom 3D Signage for Your Business

When someone walks into your office, enters your retail space, or drives past your building, they form an impression in seconds. Dimensional letters are one of the most powerful ways to make that moment work in your favor — and Signarama Colorado Springs South fabricates and installs them right here in the Pikes Peak region.

What Are Dimensional Letters?

Dimensional letters are individually cut, three-dimensional characters mounted directly to a wall, fascia, or exterior surface. Unlike flat vinyl graphics or printed panels, dimensional letters have real physical depth — typically ranging from ¼" to 2" or more — which creates natural shadow, visual weight, and a premium appearance that flat signage simply can't achieve.

Common materials include:

  • Acrylic — clean, modern look; ideal for interior lobbies

  • Aluminum — durable and weather-resistant for exterior use

  • PVC/Sintra — lightweight and cost-effective for indoor applications

  • HDU foam — paintable, detailed, great for custom shapes and logos

Letters can be flush-mounted for a clean, integrated look, or mounted on standoffs that add additional depth and shadow.

Dimensional Letters in Colorado Springs: A Recent Project

We recently completed a full interior lobby installation for Practice 32: A Dental Hygiene Experience, a dental office here in Colorado Springs. The sign features individually mounted dimensional letters in a soft sage finish alongside a custom tooth logo element — all mounted to their signature lavender accent wall.

The result? A reception area that communicates professionalism and brand identity the moment a patient walks through the door. No printed panel. No vinyl. Just clean, three-dimensional lettering that elevates the entire space.

Best Applications for Dimensional Letter Signage

Lobby and reception walls — The most popular application. Sets a professional tone immediately upon entry.

Building exteriors and fascia — Dimensional letters hold up to Colorado's weather extremes and read clearly at distance, making them ideal for storefronts and office parks along busy corridors like Academy, Powers, or Platte.

Retail storefronts — Stand out from neighboring businesses with signage that commands attention without digital displays.

Corporate feature walls and conference rooms — Reinforce your brand identity throughout your entire workspace.

Why Work With a Local Sign Shop?

Dimensional letter installation involves precise measurement, surface preparation, and mounting — and getting it right matters. At Signarama Colorado Springs South, we handle every step in-house: design, fabrication, layout, and installation. We also manage exterior permitting when required, so you don't have to navigate the City of Colorado Springs permitting process alone.

Window Frosting & Graphics: Privacy and Branding in One Install

Window Frosting & Graphics: Privacy and Branding in One Install

Jun 16, 2026 by

A storefront's glass is some of the most valuable real estate a business has, and most of it goes unused. Frosted window vinyl and custom window graphics turn that glass into a branding opportunity while solving a practical problem: privacy. The photo below is from a recent install at a defense and technology office in Colorado Springs, where frosted film and a logo cutout work together to soften the view into the space without blocking light.

What Is Window Frosting?

Window frosting is a vinyl film applied to glass that mimics the look of sandblasted or etched glass. It diffuses light and obscures direct sightlines while still letting daylight through, which makes it a popular alternative to blinds or curtains in offices, conference rooms, and storefronts. Unlike permanently etched glass, frosted vinyl can be removed or replaced without touching the glass itself.

Frosting comes in a few different finishes, and the right one depends on how much privacy versus light you want:

•       Full frost: an even, all-over matte finish that obscures the view completely while passing light through.

•       Gradient frost: frosting that fades from solid at the bottom to clear at the top (or vice versa), often used for partial privacy at eye level.

•       Frosted cutouts: a frosted background with a logo or pattern cut out in clear vinyl, or the reverse — a clear background with the logo frosted, as shown in the photo above.

•       Decorative patterns: stripes, dots, or geometric designs that add visual interest while meeting ADA glass-marking requirements on doors.

Why Businesses Choose Frosted Window Graphics

Privacy without losing light. Frosting blocks the view into a space the way blinds do, but without darkening the room or requiring upkeep. This matters most for conference rooms, executive offices, and any business that handles sensitive work in view of a public hallway or parking lot.

Branding on otherwise wasted space. Storefront glass is often the first thing a customer sees. A frosted logo at the entrance, like the install pictured above, reinforces brand identity before anyone walks through the door, and it does so without the cost or commitment of a permanent sign.

A lower-cost alternative to etched glass. True sandblasted or acid-etched glass looks similar but requires replacing the glass itself if the design ever changes. Frosted vinyl achieves the same aesthetic at a fraction of the cost and can be swapped out as branding evolves.

Clean, professional first impressions. A frosted glass entry signals an established, polished business in a way that bare glass or paper signs in the window do not.

Common Uses We See in Colorado Springs

•       Office entryways and lobbies, where a frosted logo greets visitors at the door.

•       Conference rooms and private offices, where gradient frosting balances privacy with natural light.

•       Retail storefronts, where frosting can screen a stockroom or back office from customer view.

•       Medical and professional offices, where patient or client privacy is a practical requirement, not just an aesthetic choice.

Our Process: Design to Install

Every frosting project starts with a site visit and measurement, since glass dimensions and door hardware placement vary from building to building. From there, our design team builds the artwork, whether that is a clean logo cutout, a full gradient panel, or a custom pattern, and proofs it with the client before any material is cut. Because we handle design, fabrication, and installation in-house, there is no handoff between vendors and no surprises between the proof and the finished product. Most window frosting jobs install in a single visit with minimal disruption to a business's normal hours.

See Everything. Show Everything. Window Perf Is the Privacy Solution Your Business Didn't Know It Needed.

See Everything. Show Everything. Window Perf Is the Privacy Solution Your Business Didn't Know It Needed.

Jun 4, 2026 by Sam Brown

Most business owners think of window graphics as a branding tool — a way to put a logo or message on a storefront. And they're right. But perforated window vinyl does something even more valuable: it gives you full-color graphics on the outside while maintaining clear sightlines from the inside. It's one of the most practical, versatile products we install at Signarama Colorado Springs South, and privacy is one of the biggest reasons our clients choose it.

What Is Window Perf?

Perforated window vinyl — commonly called window perf or one-way vision vinyl — is a specialty material covered in thousands of tiny holes, typically in a 50/50 or 60/40 pattern. That means 50% of the surface is solid printed vinyl and 50% is open air.

The result: from outside, you see a continuous, vibrant graphic. From inside, you see straight through to the outside — like looking through a light screen door. You get natural light, outward visibility, and complete privacy from street-level eyes.

Privacy Applications: Who's Using Window Perf and Why

Conference rooms and private offices

Glass-walled conference rooms are great for open office aesthetics — until you're trying to have a sensitive HR meeting or a client call. Perforated vinyl on interior glass partitions gives employees and leadership the privacy they need without closing off the space or blocking natural light. People inside can see out; people outside can't see in.

Medical and wellness facilities

HIPAA-sensitive environments like physical therapy clinics, counseling offices, and urgent care centers frequently use window perf to obscure treatment areas from public view. It's a clean, professional solution that satisfies privacy expectations without heavy construction or frosted glass.

Retail storefronts

Retailers use window perf to transform large front windows into high-impact advertising space while keeping backroom operations, inventory areas, or staff workspaces out of public view. A clothing boutique can run a full seasonal campaign across its windows; a firearms dealer can display promotions while limiting visibility into secured areas.

Defense contractors and government tenants

Colorado Springs is home to some of the most security-conscious organizations in the country — Space Force, NORAD, Schriever, Peterson, and hundreds of supporting contractors. Window perf is commonly used in lobbies, security vestibules, and office suites to project a branded, professional image while preventing casual observation of sensitive workspaces. The JT4 installation shown above is a great example: full aerospace-themed graphics across a lobby window bank, completely opaque from the outside.

Restaurants and service businesses

Booths near windows are prime real estate, but diners don't always love feeling on display to foot traffic. Window perf lets restaurants maintain an attractive window presence while giving guests a sense of enclosure and comfort.

The Visual Upside: It's Not Just About Privacy

Privacy is the function. The visual impact is the bonus. Perforated vinyl can be printed at full photographic resolution — which means the graphics you see across your windows can be as bold and detailed as anything we'd print on a banner or vehicle wrap. We've installed everything from fighter jet photography to mountain landscapes to corporate identity systems using window perf.

Because the material spans your entire window surface, it transforms glass that would otherwise be dead space into the largest sign on your building — visible from the street, the parking lot, and passing traffic.

What to Expect From Installation

  • We measure and template your window openings before production — no guessing on sizes
  • Graphics are printed in-house on our large-format printer for fast turnaround
  • Installation is clean and typically completed in a single visit
  • Perf vinyl is removable and repositionable — great for tenants and seasonal updates
  • Exterior applications are rated for multi-year outdoor durability

Colorado Springs Businesses: Let's Talk About Your Windows

Whether you're looking for privacy, branding, or both, window perf is one of the highest-impact, most cost-effective upgrades you can make to your space. Signarama Colorado Springs South handles the design, printing, and installation in-house — so there's one point of contact from concept to completion.

Site Signs & Public Notices: Why Professional Signage Matters for Your Project

Site Signs & Public Notices: Why Professional Signage Matters for Your Project

Jun 2, 2026 by Sam Brown

When a construction crew breaks ground on a new project, one of the first things that goes up isn't a wall or a foundation — it's a sign. Site signs and public notice boards are among the most legally and practically important pieces of signage a project can have, and getting them right from day one sets the tone for how your organization is perceived by the public, regulators, and neighbors alike.

At Signarama Colorado Springs South, we produce site signage for contractors, utility companies, municipalities, and developers throughout El Paso County and the surrounding region. Here's what you need to know about this often-overlooked but critical category of signage.

What Are Site Signs and Public Notices?

Site signs are temporary or semi-permanent signs posted at or near a construction, utility, or development project. They serve several distinct functions:

  • Identifying the project and the parties responsible for it
  • Satisfying legal posting requirements from local, state, or federal authorities
  • Informing the public about what is being built, who to contact, and relevant timelines
  • Demonstrating compliance with permitting, environmental, and zoning regulations

Public notice signs — like the one shown from a Widefield Water and Sanitation District project — are a specific subset. These are mandated by regulatory agencies and must meet strict requirements for content, size, placement, and durability.

Common Types of Site Signage We Produce

  • Public notice boards for water, sewer, and utility projects
  • Construction site ID signs with contractor name, license number, and permit info
  • CDOT and municipal right-of-way project signs
  • Zoning variance and conditional use permit notices
  • Environmental compliance and erosion control signage
  • Project branding signs for developers and general contractors

Why Professional Production Matters

These signs often carry legal weight. A faded, illegible, or incorrectly sized notice sign can result in permit delays, regulatory citations, or even project shutdowns. Here's what separates a professionally produced site sign from a DIY alternative:

Durability in Colorado's climate

Colorado Springs weather — from intense UV and high-altitude sun to spring snowstorms and high winds — demands substrates and inks that hold up outdoors. We use coroplast, aluminum composite, and rigid PVC depending on the project duration and exposure, paired with UV-resistant inks that won't fade mid-project.

Accurate, legible content

Regulatory signs must typically include specific text, contact numbers, agency references, and project descriptions. We work with your specs or regulatory template to make sure every required element is present and legible at distance.

Fast turnaround

Permitting timelines don't wait. We offer 24-hour turnaround on most site sign orders, so you're not delayed getting your notice posted before work begins.

Correct sizing

Many regulatory bodies specify minimum sign dimensions. We can produce signs at any custom size, from a standard 24" x 18" to large-format 4' x 4' or bigger, to meet your jurisdiction's requirements.

Who Uses Site Signs in Colorado Springs?

  • General contractors and subcontractors
  • Water and sanitation districts (Widefield, Security, Fountain, CSPUD)
  • El Paso County and City of Colorado Springs project managers
  • Civil engineering and environmental consulting firms
  • Developers and commercial property owners seeking zoning variances

If your organization regularly pulls permits or manages public-facing projects, we'd love to be your go-to sign vendor. We understand the local regulatory environment, we can turn orders quickly, and we'll store your templates to make reordering easy.

Why Non-Compliant ADA Signs Cost More Than You Think

Why Non-Compliant ADA Signs Cost More Than You Think

May 20, 2026 by Sam Brown

When businesses call us about ADA signage, it's usually because something forced their hand — a lease renewal, a permit review, or a complaint. By that point, the conversation has shifted from 'how do we do this well' to 'how do we fix this fast.' Planning ahead changes that entirely.

The real cost of non-compliance

ADA enforcement is complaint-driven, not inspection-driven — but that's not the safety net it sounds like. Complaints can come from anyone, and civil suits under the ADA allow plaintiffs to recover attorneys' fees, which is why ADA litigation has become its own legal industry. Closer to home, Colorado building permit reviews and certificate of occupancy inspections routinely flag missing or non-compliant signs. Getting caught mid-project is far more disruptive than planning ahead.

When ADA signs pay for themselves

The best time to address ADA signage is when something else is already changing:

  • Lease renewals and tenant improvements — compliance is often a permit condition anyway
  • New construction and build-outs — getting a sign shop involved early means signs match the space and avoid last-minute scrambles
  • Rebrands and facility refreshes — updating ADA signs alongside interior changes keeps everything cohesive and current
  • Multi-unit buildings — a single full-building program drops the per-sign cost significantly and eliminates exposure across the property

Cheap signs are rarely compliant — or cheap

Generic signs from big-box retailers frequently fail on raised character height, braille grade, glare finish, or mounting specs. A non-compliant sign provides no legal protection and still needs to be replaced. Buying compliant signs once costs less than buying the wrong thing twice — and compliant doesn't mean plain. Modern ADA signs can be manufactured in brushed aluminum, matte acrylic, wood laminate, and custom colors to match any interior.

Free ADA sign assessment — Colorado Springs

We offer free ADA sign assessments for Colorado Springs area businesses. We'll walk your space, identify gaps, and give you a clear picture of what an upgrade involves — no obligation. Design, manufacturing, and installation all happen in-house, so there's one point of contact from start to finish.

ADA Signage: What Every Business Owner Needs to Know

ADA Signage: What Every Business Owner Needs to Know

May 18, 2026 by Sam Brown

If your business is open to the public, ADA signage isn't optional — it's federal law. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, any permanent room or space in a commercial or public building must be identified with a sign meeting specific standards for tactile characters, braille, contrast, and mounting height. Getting it wrong can mean costly fines and facility audits. The good news? Compliant signs can look exceptional.

What makes a sign ADA-compliant?

The ADA Standards for Accessible Design (Section 703) lay out precise requirements for any sign identifying a permanent room or space:

Requirement

Standard

Characters

Raised 1/32" min, uppercase sans-serif

Braille

Grade 2 contracted braille below text

Contrast

70% min. light-dark contrast

Finish

Non-glare surface on sign and characters

Mounting height

Centerline at 60" AFF, latch side of door

Clearance

18" x 18" clear floor space at the sign

Which spaces require ADA signs?

Any room or space with a permanent function must be identified — restrooms, conference rooms, offices, stairwells, storage rooms, mechanical spaces, and more. Restrooms carry additional requirements, including the International Symbol of Accessibility for accessible facilities. When in doubt, err on the side of compliance; a sign costs far less than a violation.

Common mistakes — and how to avoid them

The most frequent compliance errors we see are mounting violations (sign placed on the door rather than the wall beside it), incorrect braille (Grade 1 instead of Grade 2), and insufficient contrast. A sign can look great in a design file and still fail if the materials don’t hit the 70% luminance ratio. Professional fabrication eliminates these risks — we handle the braille translation, material spec, and finish selection so you don’t have to navigate the standards yourself.

Brand and compliance aren’t opposites

The ADA standards govern character type, braille, contrast, and mounting — not your logo, color palette, or design language. Client logos integrate naturally into fully compliant sign systems, and many of our most visually striking interior projects have been full ADA sign programs: wayfinding systems, directory signs, and room identification suites that reflect the building’s identity at every turn.

Ready to get your building into compliance?

Whether you’re outfitting a new facility, updating an existing building, or replacing a few non-compliant signs, we can help. We handle design, fabrication, and installation — all under one roof in Colorado Springs. We typically turn quotes around within the hour.

Window Graphics for Schools: How Window Perf and Vinyl Transforms School Buildings

Window Graphics for Schools: How Window Perf and Vinyl Transforms School Buildings

May 13, 2026 by Sam Brown

Your school's windows are prime real estate — and most schools leave them completely blank. Window graphics change that. We recently completed a large perforated window film installation at Russell Middle School in Colorado Springs, turning plain glass into a campus landmark. Here's what you need to know about window graphics for schools.

Window Perf: Bold Graphics, One-Way Visibility

Perforated window vinyl — window perf — is the go-to product for school window graphics. It's printed on a vinyl film with thousands of tiny holes: from outside you see vivid full-color imagery; from inside, occupants look right through with minimal obstruction. No sacrificed natural light, no blocked views.

It's ideal for main entrances, gymnasium and cafeteria windows, administrative offices (where the one-way visibility doubles as privacy), and any large exterior-facing glass that would otherwise go to waste.

Other Options Worth Knowing

•  Cut vinyl & decals — Clean logos, lettering, or mascots on smaller windows and glass doors.

•  Frosted vinyl — Privacy glass appearance at a fraction of etched glass cost. Great for offices and entryways.

•  Blackout vinyl — Fully opaque, used where complete privacy is needed (testing rooms, counseling offices).

•  Inside vs. outside application — Second-surface installation (applied inside, facing out) protects graphics from weather and vandalism.

What Is a Light Box Face? A Quick Guide to Illuminated Sign Panels

What Is a Light Box Face? A Quick Guide to Illuminated Sign Panels

May 11, 2026 by Sam Brown

A light box face is the translucent front panel of an illuminated sign cabinet — the part where your graphics, logo, and messaging are displayed. When light shines through from behind, your branding pops with brilliant, even illumination day and night.

Materials & Graphics

The three most common face materials are acrylic (affordable, excellent light transmission), polycarbonate (more impact-resistant — great for Colorado hail and wind), and flex faces (translucent vinyl stretched over the frame, ideal for large pylon or monument signs).

Graphics are either printed directly onto the panel with UV-stable inks, or applied as backlit vinyl — which makes future rebranding easy without replacing the whole face.

When to Replace Your Face

Watch for these signs that it's time for a new panel:

•  Yellowing or discoloration from UV exposure

•  Cracking or crazing from temperature stress or age

•  Faded, peeling, or outdated graphics

•  Uneven illumination across the sign face

In most cases the cabinet is still sound — replacing just the face saves significant money over a full sign replacement.

Consider an LED Retrofit at the Same Time

A face replacement is the perfect opportunity to upgrade from fluorescent to LED lighting inside the cabinet. LED retrofits cut energy costs by up to 70%, last far longer, and produce more even, vibrant illumination. Pair a new face with an LED retrofit and a 10-year-old sign can look brand new.

Ready to refresh your illuminated sign? Signarama Colorado Springs South designs, prints, and installs custom light box faces for businesses throughout the area — all in-house. Contact us today for a free consultation and quote.

Vehicle Wraps for Business: What to Expect from Start to Finish

Vehicle Wraps for Business: What to Expect from Start to Finish

May 6, 2026 by Sam Brown

If you’ve ever seen a branded van rolling down I-25 and thought, “I need that for my business,” you’re not alone. Vehicle wraps are one of the most cost-effective forms of advertising available to small and mid-sized businesses — turning everyday work trucks, vans, and company cars into moving billboards that generate thousands of impressions every single day.

But if you’ve never gone through the process before, it can feel a little mysterious. How does it actually work? How long does it take? What do you need to prepare? This guide walks you through the entire vehicle wrap process — from your first conversation with our team all the way to hitting the road with a fully branded vehicle. And we’ll use a real job we recently completed for Stone Ridge Construction right here in Colorado Springs to show you exactly what it looks like in practice.

Step 1: The Consultation — Defining Your Goals

Every great vehicle wrap starts with a conversation. Before any design work begins, we want to understand your business, your brand, and what you’re trying to accomplish.

Key questions you should be ready to answer:

  • What type of vehicle(s) are you wrapping?
  • Do you have existing brand guidelines, logos, or color palettes?
  • Are you looking for a full wrap, partial wrap, or simple vinyl lettering?
  • What’s your timeline and budget?

This is also your opportunity to ask questions. We’ll walk you through material options, finish types (gloss, matte, satin), and give you realistic expectations around cost and turnaround.

Pro tip: Bring high-resolution versions of your logo and any brand assets to your first meeting. Low-resolution files are one of the most common causes of design delays.

For Stone Ridge Construction, they came in with a clean, established brand — a sophisticated wordmark with strong typography that was well-suited for a large vehicle surface. That made the design process smooth and efficient.

Step 2: Vehicle Measurement and Templates

Once you’ve decided to move forward, we’ll either photograph and measure your vehicle in person or pull a manufacturer template for your exact make, model, and year. Accurate templates are critical — a design that looks great on screen can go sideways fast if it doesn’t account for door handles, mirrors, bumpers, and body contours.

Stone Ridge brought in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van — one of the most popular vehicles for commercial wraps because of its large, flat panel surfaces and strong brand presence on the road. We pulled the exact template for their Sprinter and built the design layout to work with the vehicle’s proportions from the start.

Step 3: Design

This is where your vision comes to life. Our design team takes your brand assets and builds a layout that works with the shape of your vehicle — not against it. Good vehicle wrap design accounts for:

  • Viewing distance and speed — messaging needs to be readable in 3 seconds or less
  • Panel breaks — doors, windows, and body lines that interrupt the design
  • Color contrast — your brand colors need to pop against street-level backgrounds
  • Call to action — phone number, website, and service area should be prominent

For Stone Ridge, the design leaned into their premium brand positioning — clean, minimal, and confident. The kind of wrap that makes a construction company look like the one you want handling your project.

We’ll always present you with a design proof for approval before anything goes to print. This is your chance to request revisions. Be thorough — changes are easy at this stage and costly after printing.

Step 4: Print and Lamination

Once you’ve approved the design, it goes to production. We print commercial-grade vehicle wraps on cast vinyl using large-format printers capable of producing vivid, high-resolution graphics. Cast vinyl is the gold standard for vehicle applications because it conforms to curves and complex surfaces without distorting or lifting.

After printing, the vinyl goes through our laminator, which applies a clear protective overlaminate. This layer protects the print from UV fading, abrasion, fuel spills, and Colorado’s intense sun and weather — and it’s what gives the wrap its long-term durability. A quality wrap, properly maintained, can last 5 to 7 years.

Turnaround time for print and lamination: Typically 1–3 business days once the design is approved, though this varies by wrap complexity and shop workload.

Step 5: Vehicle Prep

Before installation begins, the vehicle is thoroughly cleaned. Any dirt, wax, grease, or residue left on the surface can cause the vinyl to lift, bubble, or fail to adhere properly. Our installers wash and degrease the entire vehicle, and wipe down panel edges and recesses with isopropyl alcohol.

This step matters more than most business owners realize. A clean surface is the foundation of a wrap that lasts. If you’re dropping a vehicle off for installation, avoid applying any new wax or detailing products in the days beforehand.

Step 6: Installation

Vehicle wrap installation is a skilled trade. It takes experience, patience, and the right tools — heat guns, squeegees, and precision knives — to apply vinyl smoothly across complex body panels without wrinkles, bubbles, or misalignment.

The process involves:

  1. Positioning large panels of vinyl on the vehicle
  2. Applying heat to activate the adhesive and allow the vinyl to conform to curves
  3. Squeegeeing out air and smoothing edges
  4. Trimming excess vinyl around door edges, handles, and openings
  5. Post-heating recessed areas to ensure long-term adhesion

Photo: Our installer laying a panel on Stone Ridge Construction’s Sprinter van — carefully positioning the vinyl before smoothing and heat-setting it into place.

The photo above captures exactly what this stage looks like in our shop. Our installer is positioning a large panel on the side of Stone Ridge’s Sprinter, working from the top edge down to maintain alignment across the full length of the vehicle. What looks like a wrinkled sheet of material at this stage will be worked out completely as the panel is squeegeed smooth and heat is applied to conform the vinyl to the body contours.

Installation time varies by vehicle size and wrap complexity. A Sprinter van with a full wrap like Stone Ridge’s typically takes 1–2 full days. A partial wrap or vinyl lettering on a passenger car can often be completed in a few hours.

Step 7: Final Inspection and Pickup

Before you drive away, we walk through the finished wrap together and inspect every panel, edge, and seam. This is your final opportunity to flag anything that doesn’t look right — though with experienced installers, surprises at this stage are rare.

You’ll also leave with care instructions, which typically include:

  • Wait 24–48 hours before washing the vehicle
  • Hand wash only for the first few weeks, or use touchless car washes
  • Avoid pressure washing directly at seams and edges
  • Park in the shade when possible, to extend the life of the wrap — especially important along the Front Range where UV exposure is high

Ready to Wrap Your Vehicle in Colorado Springs?

At Signarama Colorado Springs South, we handle every step of the vehicle wrap process in-house — from design and print to professional installation. We work with contractors, trades businesses, service companies, and fleets of all sizes across the Pikes Peak region.

How Window Graphics Transform Your Colorado Springs Storefront

How Window Graphics Transform Your Colorado Springs Storefront

May 4, 2026 by Sam Brown

When people drive or walk past your business, you have a matter of seconds to make an impression. Your windows are some of the most valuable — and most underutilized — real estate on your building. Window graphics are one of the highest-impact, most cost-effective ways to turn that glass into a 24/7 marketing tool.

We recently completed a window graphics project for Chewy Vet Care here in Colorado Springs, and the results speak for themselves. Bold, full-color graphics wrap the entire storefront corner, communicating the brand’s personality, key services, and welcoming energy — all before a single customer walks through the door.

What Are Window Graphics?

Window graphics are printed vinyl applied directly to glass surfaces — storefronts, office windows, vehicles with glass panels, and more. They can cover a portion of the window or span the entire pane, and they come in a variety of finishes and materials depending on your goals:

  • Perforated vinyl – Looks opaque from the outside with full graphics, but allows visibility from the inside. Great for privacy without sacrificing natural light.
  • Frosted or etched vinyl – Mimics the look of etched glass for a professional, upscale feel. Popular for offices, salons, and financial businesses.
  • Clear vinyl with opaque printing – Graphics appear to “float” on the glass for a clean, modern look.
  • Full opaque vinyl – Maximum visual impact; fully blocks the view through that section of glass.

The Chewy Vet Care Project: A Case Study in Brand Storytelling

The Chewy Vet Care location we outfitted is a perfect example of window graphics doing heavy lifting for a brand. The design features:

  • Vibrant blue wave graphics running along the base of the entire corner window line, creating a unified, eye-catching band of color visible from across the parking lot
  • Illustrated pet characters (including the brand’s signature dog) that reinforce brand identity and communicate that this is a fun, friendly place for pets and their people
  • Service callouts printed directly on the glass — including Routine & Wellness Care, Spay & Neuter, and Nutrition — so passersby immediately understand what’s offered without ever stepping inside
  • Address numbers integrated cleanly into the design for wayfinding

The result is a storefront that functions as a billboard, a brand statement, and a directory — all at once.

Why Window Graphics Are a Smart Investment for Colorado Springs Businesses

1. Visibility in a Competitive Market

Colorado Springs is a growing city with new businesses opening constantly. Standing out along busy corridors like Powers Boulevard, Academy, or Platte Avenue means competing for attention every single day. Window graphics turn your building into a visual anchor that draws eyes and drives walk-in traffic.

2. Cost-Effective Compared to Other Signage

Monument signs and illuminated channel letters are powerful, but they come with higher costs and longer lead times. Window graphics offer strong visual impact at a fraction of the price — and they can be updated far more easily when your promotions, services, or branding change.

3. Communicates Your Brand Instantly

The Chewy Vet Care graphics don’t just look great — they tell a story. Before a customer asks a single question, they already know this is a vet clinic with a friendly, modern personality that cares about their pet. That’s brand communication doing exactly what it should.

4. They Work Around the Clock

Unlike digital ads or social posts that require someone to be scrolling at the right moment, your window graphics are working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every car that drives past, every pedestrian on the sidewalk, every potential customer in the parking lot — they all see your message.

5. No Permit Required (in Most Cases)

Unlike freestanding signs or rooftop signage, most window graphics in Colorado Springs don’t require a city permit, which means faster turnaround and fewer hoops to jump through. (We always verify local requirements for every project — check with your landlord or municipality if you’re unsure.)

The Signarama Process: From Design to Installation

At Signarama Colorado Springs South, we handle everything in-house — design, printing, and professional installation. Here’s what working with us looks like:

  1. Consultation – We learn about your business, your goals, and your space. Measurements, photos, and brand assets are gathered.
  2. Design – Our team creates a custom layout that works with your architecture and maximizes visual impact.
  3. Approval – You review proofs before anything is printed. No surprises.

From Design to Installation: How We Built a Bold Building Sign for SAAD Auto Sales in Colorado Springs

From Design to Installation: How We Built a Bold Building Sign for SAAD Auto Sales in Colorado Springs

Apr 24, 2026 by Sam Brown

When SAAD Auto Sales needed a professional building sign to anchor their Colorado Springs location, they turned to Signarama Colorado Springs South for a complete, full-service solution. From the first design conversation to final installation, we handled every step in-house — and the result speaks for itself.

The Challenge: Making a Car Dealership Stand Out on a Busy Street

For any auto dealer, first impressions matter before a customer ever walks through the door. SAAD Auto Sales wanted a building sign that would reflect their brand with confidence, be visible from the street, and hold up through Colorado's demanding weather seasons — from intense summer sun to freezing winter conditions.

They already had a strong logo — a bold, distinctive wordmark with black lettering and a red graphic element — and needed a sign that would showcase it cleanly on the face of their building.

Our Solution: Custom Aluminum Panel Sign

We designed and fabricated a large-format aluminum panel sign printed with SAAD Auto Sales' full logo and mounted it prominently above the roofline of their storefront on South Nevada Avenue.

Here's why aluminum panel signage was the right fit for this project:

  • Durability built for Colorado — Aluminum is weather-resistant and won't warp, crack, or fade under Colorado's UV exposure and temperature swings.
  • High-impact graphics — The white panel background makes the bold black-and-red SAAD logo pop against the building's exterior, maximizing visibility from the road.
  • Clean, professional look — The finished sign gives the location a polished, established appearance that builds trust with customers before they walk in.
  • Cost-effective — Compared to illuminated channel letters, aluminum panel signs deliver excellent visibility and longevity at a practical price point.

The Full-Service Process: Design Through Installation

At Signarama Colorado Springs South, we don't outsource any part of the sign-making process. Here's how the SAAD Auto Sales project came together:

1. Design Consultation We worked directly with the SAAD team to understand their brand standards, the scale of the sign relative to their building, and what they wanted customers to see from the street. Using their existing logo, our in-house design team created a layout scaled perfectly for the sign dimensions.

2. Fabrication Our team produced the aluminum panel in-house, applying high-quality, UV-resistant vinyl graphics that ensure the colors stay vivid for years. Every detail of the logo — including the clean red and black contrast — was reproduced faithfully.

3. Permitting Building signs in Colorado Springs require permits from the city. We managed the permitting process on behalf of SAAD Auto Sales, so they didn't have to navigate city requirements on their own. This is one of the biggest advantages of working with a full-service sign company — we handle the paperwork so you can focus on running your business.

4. Installation Our installation crew mounted the sign securely above the roofline, ensuring it was level, properly anchored, and positioned for maximum street visibility. The finished product is clean, professional, and exactly what the customer envisioned.

The Result

The completed sign immediately elevates the curb appeal of SAAD Auto Sales' Colorado Springs location. Drivers and pedestrians can clearly identify the business from the road, reinforcing the brand every single day — without any ongoing effort from the business owner.

It's exactly the kind of signage investment that pays for itself through increased walk-in traffic and a stronger professional presence in the community.

Exterior ACM Sign for Ollie’s Smoke & Vape — Colorado Springs

Exterior ACM Sign for Ollie’s Smoke & Vape — Colorado Springs

Apr 20, 2026 by Sam Brown

When Ollie’s Smoke & Vape needed more visibility from their parking lot, they turned to Signarama Colorado Springs South. We fabricated and installed an exterior ACM (aluminum composite material) sign on the back of their building — turning an empty wall into a bold, brand-building advertising asset that works around the clock.

The Project

We fabricated and installed a high-impact ACM sign featuring the Ollie’s logo — a bold French bulldog mascot on a black background with bright yellow and white lettering. ACM (aluminum composite material) gives the sign a rigid, professional panel look that stands up to Colorado’s weather far longer than a standard banner. The result is a sign that’s readable from across the parking lot and impossible to ignore.

Key features:

  • High-contrast design for maximum visibility at a distance
  • Weather-resistant materials suited for Colorado’s climate
  • Secure wall-mount installation

Why Exterior Signage Works

ACM signs are one of the most cost-effective exterior signage investments for local businesses in Colorado Springs. They’re durable, low-maintenance, and consistently drive brand recognition with everyone who passes by — whether they’re walking through a parking lot or driving down the street.

Window Graphics That Mean Business: Our Work with Allied Title Colorado LLC

By Signarama Colorado Springs South  |  Window Graphics & Office Branding

First impressions matter — especially in a professional setting. When a client walks through your door, the environment they step into speaks volumes about your brand before a single word is exchanged. That's exactly why Allied Title Colorado LLC partnered with Signarama Colorado Springs South to bring their office space to life with custom frosted window graphics.

The result? A polished, professional look that commands attention and communicates credibility from the moment anyone walks in.

The Project: Window Graphics for Allied Title Colorado LLC

Allied Title Colorado LLC came to us with a clear vision: they wanted their office windows to reflect the same professionalism and trust that defines their business. Working with the real estate and title industry means your clients are making some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives — your office environment needs to inspire confidence.

Our team at Signarama Colorado Springs South designed and installed custom window graphics featuring the Allied Title Colorado LLC logo — a clean, bold "AT" monogram encircled in their signature style — paired with their full company name in a modern, sans-serif typeface. The frosted vinyl finish strikes the perfect balance between privacy and professionalism, diffusing light beautifully while keeping the branding sharp and striking.

Why Window Graphics Work So Well for Colorado Springs Businesses

Window graphics are one of the most versatile and cost-effective branding tools available for businesses in Colorado Springs and the surrounding Pikes Peak region. Here's why they're a smart investment:

Brand Visibility: Your logo and company name are always on display, reinforcing brand recognition with every passerby and every visitor.

Privacy Without Darkness: Frosted vinyl diffuses light rather than blocking it, keeping your space bright while adding a layer of privacy for meetings and sensitive conversations.

Professional Aesthetic: The clean, matte finish of frosted graphics elevates any office environment, giving it a high-end, custom feel without the high-end price tag.

Durability: Quality window graphics are built to last, resisting fading and peeling even in Colorado's intense sun and fluctuating temperatures.

Dimensional Letter Signage for Chance Resource Center in Colorado Springs

Dimensional Letter Signage for Chance Resource Center in Colorado Springs

Mar 10, 2026 by Sam Brown

At Signarama Colorado Springs South, we specialize in creating custom signage that helps businesses and organizations make a strong first impression. One of our recent projects was producing and installing dimensional letters for Chance Resource Center, giving their building a clean, professional look that stands out.

A Clean, Professional Look with Dimensional Letters

For this project, Chance Resource Center needed building signage that was easy to read, durable, and consistent with their branding. Dimensional letters were the perfect solution.

Unlike flat panel signs, dimensional letters are individually fabricated and mounted directly to the wall, creating depth and subtle shadowing that improves visibility and adds a more refined appearance. The finished installation provides a polished, permanent look that complements the building while making the organization easy to locate.

Why Businesses Choose Dimensional Letter Signs

Dimensional lettering is one of the most popular options for building signage in Colorado Springs because it offers both durability and visual impact. Some of the main benefits include:

  • Depth and shadowing that improve readability and visibility

  • Long-lasting materials designed for outdoor conditions

  • Custom fabrication to match brand colors, fonts, and logos

  • A clean, architectural look that elevates a building’s exterior

These types of signs are commonly used for office buildings, medical facilities, nonprofits, and corporate entrances where a professional appearance is important.

Built and Installed by Signarama Colorado Springs South

Our team handled the entire process for Chance Resource Center—from fabrication to final installation—ensuring every letter was properly aligned and securely mounted for long-term performance.

Projects like this highlight how well-crafted dimensional lettering can enhance a building’s visibility while reinforcing a brand’s identity.

If you're looking for dimensional letters or custom building signage in Colorado Springs, the team at Signarama Colorado Springs South can help design and install a solution that fits your space and your brand. Contact us today to get started.
