Transforming an Old Framed Picture into a Child’s Dream Messi Poster

Turning a Faded Frame Into a Moment of Pure Joy

At Signarama, we love projects that allow us to create something meaningful - especially when they bring a child’s dream to life.
This project began with a parent who came into our shop carrying an old, unwanted framed picture. Instead of discarding it, they wondered: “Can this be turned into something my son will actually love?”

Absolutely!!!

The Challenge:
The original frame held outdated artwork that had lost its sentimental value. But the frame itself was sturdy, well-sized, and perfect for repurposing. The goal was to transform it into a vibrant, high-quality poster featuring Lionel Messi - the hero of their soccer-loving child.

The challenge was designing a custom graphic that felt exciting, modern, and perfectly fitted to the existing frame, all while ensuring durability for long-term display.

Our Solution:
Our team stepped in with a complete end-to-end solution:

1. Choosing the Right Image
Along with the child, Ariel, our designer chose a high-resolution, impactful image of Messi winning the World Cup trophy.

2. High-Quality Printing
The design was produced on premium decal material, delivering sharp detail, rich color, and a smooth finish - ideal for bedroom décor or personal spaces.

3. Perfect Fit for the Existing Frame
The print was trimmed and mounted precisely so it reused the original frame seamlessly, eliminating waste and turning something old into something unforgettable.

The Result:
What began as an unwanted framed picture quickly transformed into the centerpiece of a young soccer fan’s room. We invited Ariel to witness the entire process of production. The child’s reaction was priceless, filled with a mix of excitement and disbelief as he saw his hero showcased in such a bold, professional format.

This project is an excellent example of how the right graphics can breathe new life into items you already own, while delivering the polished, professional quality Signarama is known for.
