Signarama Rivercities Earns First Place in the 2026 Signs of the Times Sign Contest

We're excited to share some incredible news! Signarama Rivercities has been awarded First Place in the 2026 Signs of the Times Sign Contest in the category of Best Sign Shop or Outside-Designed Vehicle Wrap for our custom 1951 Ford F100 Gasser vehicle wrap. The annual competition recognizes outstanding sign and graphics projects from across North America and is one of the most respected awards in the sign industry. For our team, this award represents far more than a beautiful vehicle wrap. It reflects the creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that go into every project we produce. A Vintage Truck with a Bold New Identity The award-winning project featured a 1951 Ford F100 Gasser, the third drag-racing vehicle our team has wrapped for the Heaberlin family. Designed collaboratively between our in-house design team and the client, the wrap combines vibrant graphics with classic drag racing style to create a vehicle that turns heads both on and off the track. Printed on our HP Latex 700 W using Avery Dennison EZRS 1105 wrap vinyl and finished with premium overlaminate, the project presented unique installation challenges. The truck's distinctive body lines required careful planning and strategic seam placement to preserve the flow of the design across every curve and contour. As we shared during the project, installing the wrap felt "like solving a puzzle—except the puzzle is large, curved, and going very fast down a track." That challenge made the finished product even more rewarding. Recognition from the Industry To have this project recognized by the editors and judges of Signs of the Times is an incredible honor. For more than a century, the publication has highlighted the best work in the sign, graphics, and visual communications industry, making this award especially meaningful to our entire team. This recognition also continues an exciting year for Signarama Rivercities. Earlier this year, owner Heather Kincaid was honored with the 2026 Women in Signs Award, recognizing leadership and contributions to the sign industry.
