Heather Kincaid Named 2026 Women in Signs Award Winner

We are incredibly proud to announce that Heather Kincaid, owner of Signarama Rivercities in South Point, Ohio, has been named a 2026 Women in Signs Award winner by Signs of the Times! Sponsored by the International Sign Association and leading industry partners, the sixth-annual Women in Signs program honors exceptional women across North America who are making a measurable impact in ownership, management, fabrication, installation, design, sales, and marketing. Out of 308 nominations representing 140 nominees, Heather was selected as one of only five winners for 2026. This prestigious award recognizes leaders who drive innovation, fuel business growth, and create meaningful impact within their companies and communities — and Heather’s journey reflects exactly that. As co-owner of Kinly Signs dba Signarama Rivercities, Heather has helped grow the company into a nationally recognized franchise, achieving $2.8 million in revenue in 2024, earning Signarama Hall of Fame recognition, and serving as the Official Sign Company of Marshall Athletics. The company works with major universities across the region including Marshall University, West Virginia University, University of Pikeville, Morehead State, and Kentucky Christian University. Heather brings a uniquely diverse background to the sign industry. A Marshall University graduate with four degrees, she has served as a marketing executive, finance director, director of business development, and high school teacher before stepping into her full-time role as President and CFO. She has also served on the Signarama Franchise Advisory Committee and is currently a Membership Committee Member of the Wealth Builders Chapter of BNI in Charleston, WV — one of the largest and most active chapters in West Virginia and the tri-state area. She also tries to share her knowledge and teaches the Vehicle Graphics & Wraps Master's Academy with her husband and team to other Signarama owners in South Point, Ohio. But beyond titles and revenue milestones, Heather’s greatest pride is her family. She and her husband Bernard are raising six sons — three of whom serve in the United States Army — and are now enjoying life as grandparents. Heather often says her business exists not just to create signs, but to build a legacy of hard work, service, and leadership for her boys to witness and carry forward. The 2026 Women in Signs winners will be featured in the April issue of Signs of the Times and honored at a special reception during the ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, Florida. Heather shares this recognition with her incredible team, mentors within the Signarama network, her BNI family, and the Tri-State community that continues to support their growth. This award may celebrate women in signs — but for Heather, it represents something bigger: building a business that impacts families, strengthens communities, and inspires the next generation. And she’s just getting started.
