Another Busy Pre-Football Season in the Books at Marshall University

Football season in Huntington means one thing for our team at Signarama Rivercities: it’s time to get to work! Once again, our crew spent the weeks leading up to kickoff completing projects throughout Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards Stadium, helping get everything ready for the Thundering Herd’s 2026 home opener against Middle Tennessee State. And what better way to kick off the season than with a win? Marshall defeated Middle Tennessee State 28–26, giving Herd fans plenty to celebrate. For Signarama Rivercities, however, our relationship with Marshall continues to grow far beyond football. After years of working closely with Marshall Athletics, we’re proud to see that partnership expanding across the university’s academic campus as well. One of our recent projects was the massive 51' x 35' Smith Hall mural, created in collaboration with Marshall University’s School of Art & Design and artist Nichole Westfall. Projects like this give our team the opportunity to do more than make signs—they allow us to help transform spaces and become a small part of Marshall’s story. From stadium signage and athletic facilities to murals and campus-wide projects, seeing our work throughout Marshall University is something our entire team takes tremendous pride in.
