The Zekelman Holocaust Center | Farmington Hills Museum

Client: The Zekelman Holocaust Center
We had the opportunity to work with The Zekelman Holocaust Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan, to print and install custom wall graphics for its museum exhibits. Located in Oakland County and serving visitors from throughout Metro Detroit and beyond, the museum uses personal stories, historical photographs and artifacts to educate visitors about the Holocaust and preserve the experiences of those who lived through it. We were honored to contribute our signage and installation experience to a space with such an important educational purpose.
The project began with detailed renderings showing how the completed exhibit spaces were intended to look. These renderings, combined with print-ready artwork provided by the museum, gave our project manager and installation team a clear guide for the placement, scale and overall scope of the graphics. Having these materials established from the beginning helped us move efficiently through production and installation while staying true to the exhibit design.
The signage package included white vinyl lettering featuring powerful quotations and historical testimony displayed against the museum's dark walls. The high contrast keeps the words visually prominent while allowing them to remain integrated into the surrounding exhibit.
We also produced and installed large-format black-and-white wall murals featuring historical imagery. These expansive graphics add depth and texture to the space, transforming otherwise simple walls into immersive visual elements that support the stories being told throughout the museum. Careful installation was especially important to create a clean, seamless appearance at this scale.
Projects like this demonstrate how custom wall graphics, vinyl lettering and large-format printing can become part of the environment itself rather than simply functioning as signage. For museums, educational facilities and cultural organizations throughout Farmington Hills, Novi, Oakland County and Metro Detroit, these applications can help communicate information, establish atmosphere and create more engaging exhibit spaces.
We're proud to have played a part in bringing this exhibit environment to life for The Zekelman Holocaust Center. Knowing that the graphics will be seen by students, families and visitors for years to come made this project especially meaningful to our team. The finished installation is a strong example of what thoughtful design, quality large-format printing and careful installation can contribute to an important story.
