How do I install a post and panel sign?

Installing a post and panel sign can seem daunting, but by following these steps, you can do it yourself:

• Choose the location for your sign and obtain any necessary permits or approvals from your local authorities.
• Determine the size and height of your sign, as well as the spacing and depth of the post holes. Use a post-hole digger or auger to dig the holes to the proper depth, which should be one-third the height of the sign plus an additional 6 inches.
• Insert the posts into the holes, ensuring that they are straight and level using a level. Add braces or supports as necessary to keep the posts in place.
• Mix the cement according to the manufacturer's instructions and fill the holes around the posts. Ensure that the cement is evenly distributed and level with the surrounding ground.
• Allow the cement to dry and cure according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually for at least 24-48 hours.
• Attach the sign to the posts using the appropriate hardware and tools, following the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure the sign is level and securely attached to the posts.
• Finally, step back and admire your new post and panel sign!

Remember to always follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses, when handling tools and working with cement.
