Ray Titus & Jim Tatem, new logo carJust a few weeks ago, Signarama was named the number 1 sign franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine for their 2014 Franchise 500®. We also broke the Top 100 in their overall ranking, coming in at number 74.

As Signarama president Jim Tatem said, "This distinction reinforces our strength in the industry and reflects our true dedication to ongoing excellence in all aspects of our business."

We Were Recognized in Military Times' Best for Vets Rankings

In May 2013, our Salute Our Vets program was similarly honored by Military Times magazine, with a ranking of 31st on their list of Best for Vets: Franchises survey rankings. In fact, we were the only sign franchise recognized in the ranking.

Jim Tatem said at the time, "At Signarama, we’re committed to helping our veterans transition back into civilian life, own their own business and achieve success."

Signarama was recognized in Franchise Direct's Top 100 Global Franchises

In April of this year, we were ranked 53rd on Franchise Direct's Top 100 Global Franchises, making it our third year on the listing. It doesn't hurt that out of all the sign stores around the world, Signarama makes up 80 of the sign franchise market. With stores in Australia, Canada, South Africa, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and throughout Latin America, we can be found in more than 50 countries.

Signarama goes to Washington

We even had a couple franchise owners honored by the International Franchise Association (IFA) with its annual Franchisee of the Year Award. Dawn Tiritter-Bent and Michael Ziccardi, co-owners of the Signarama Huntington (New York) store were honored for their more-than-25 years of work, their outstanding performance, and the contributions they've made to help the growth and development of franchising.

More than 400 members of the IFA, including Dawn and Michael, also had a chance to meet with over 200 congressional offices about issues related to the future of franchising, such as tax certainty, healthcare reform, immigration issues, and access to credit — issues that are important to all franchise owners.

Signarama Grows Its Ranks

It was also a busy year for us in just growing the company. We saw new Signarama stores open up in Stamford, Connecticut; Cummings, Georgia; Saco, Maine; Germantown, Maryland; Raynham, Massachusetts; South Charlotte, North Carolina; Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Woodbridge, Ontario; and we signed a master franchise agreement in the Bahamas.

2013 was a great year for us at Signarama, thanks to the excellent work by our store owners as well as the people at the world headquarters here in West Palm Beach, Florida.
