Signarama Tuggerah has installed the Hewlett Packard Latex 800 W, becoming the first company to do so in NSW, and saying it will boost its eco credentials in the market. Signarama says it is promising to print the whitest whites, vivid colours at high speed, and striking contrast using pure blacks.
The printer is manufactured with 20 per cent of it having been 3D printed from ocean bound plastics.
“In a world of plastic that we live in, showing corporate responsibility and going with this specific machine, I believe is a step in the right direction to try and minimise the waste and bolster sustainability,” Melissa Marshall, director of Signarama Tuggerah, told Print21.
