One of the types of signs we specialize in is the pylon sign, the large signs you see at shopping plazas and strip malls showing all of the merchants in the property. We work with clients all over the Southeast who need pylon signs. Currently, I am working on a large project with a client who buys and sells large 100,000+ square foot retail shopping centers around the country.

Earlier this month, I met with our client, after they recently purchased a 12-property portfolio of Walgreen's pharmacy stores. This client had previously purchased shopping centers anchored by a Winn Dixie, a Publix, or a Dollar Tree. The Walgreen's portfolio is a new venture for them.

Over the next several weeks, I'll survey those properties so I can send that information back to my production shop to design and build the 30 – 60 feet high pylon signs to promote the new Walgreen's ownership. I also need to ensure the signs meet all local rules and regulations of the area. Researching and understanding local rules and regulations is something we do for our clients.

I recently met with another Signarama McDonough client about a new major project they're undertaking. This particular client owns apartment communities around the southeast. Currently they are going through a rebranding phase for all of their 106 communities, which means all new monument and directional signs.

We have another client who focuses on big box gyms; the client develops these locations throughout Florida and Georgia, and the Signarama McDonough staff works with him to design his signage.

To complete big projects like these around the country, we work with Signarama stores all over the Southeast. After all, our main focus is to install these signs in a timely manner with quality production to make the customer happy. We Signarama owners share this same philosophy, so I'm happy to work with them. I know I can always get the same quality work no matter where I go.
