2020 allowed us to showcase more than just our sign expertise. Through ingenuity, innovation, and creativity, signs and more, played a drastic role in keeping communities informed and businesses open all across the country. Communities worked together and prevailed during 2020 helping to achieve a greater sense of awareness and safety. 

Across every industry, COVID-19 changed how companies operate and how consumers shop.  Businesses adapted to keep things running despite the fear and uncertainty that accompanied the pandemic. Social distancing and masks have become part of a new way of life, but through this experience, businesses have learned how to be flexible and how to modify their processes and operations. Signarama was no different. We learned how to have touchless delivery, ordering on line and through email and keeping our workplace safe.  We are thankful that we were able to help you navigate through this with specific signage to direct people and acrylic barriers to help safeguard your employees.

There has been a lot of change over the last 11 months, but these projects illustrate how vital, versatile, and useful signage can be in our communities.

• As the restaurant industry shifted gears to curbside and delivery options, they needed a variety of signs to help keep their employees and customers safe while they worked to stay in business.

• Wayfinding and directional signs help people get where they need to go quickly and safely. During these times where entrances and exits at essential businesses have changed, Signarama has filled the need with a variety of signs directing customers – even in parking lots. 

• Sidewalk and yard signs provide a portable and affordable solution with a lot of message-power. They are versatile and can be moved easily as needed. We saw them used for everything from cheering on our healthcare heroes to advertising restaurant services and for celebrations like birthdays and graduations.

• Acrylic holiday ornaments created by Signarama Redmond, WA serve as a reminder of the unique nature of 2020 and will continue to remind families for many years. 

• Equipment that was typically used to create signs, banners and other traditional marketing materials was repurposed to produce much needed supplies for the medical community such as PPE, sneeze guards, face shields, and even acrylic election voting booths.

• Intubation boxes, protective boxes or plexiglass boxes have been fabricated to help create a barrier between patients and medical professionals.

• Without the selfless actions of frontline and healthcare workers, communities would not be as strong as they have been during COVID-19. Signage played an important role in showing admiration and appreciation for frontline workers. 

• Reminding patrons and patients about the need for social distancing brought an all new purpose for floor graphics in grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals, and so many other places.

As the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to add new precautions to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines, Signarama owners around the country have continued to innovate and create new products to help protect employees, guests, and customers.
