One vehicle wrap that I am most proud of was one we did very recently. This was for a nonprofit here in Louisville, WaterStep, that provides clean water systems for communities that do not have clean water. We wrapped their box truck that they use for shoe donations.

The goal for the vehicle wrap was to alert the community to what WaterStep does. WaterStep raises money by taking in shoe donations, which they then resell to countries that buy used shoes in bulk. That money is then used to provide clean drinking water to countries that otherwise don't have it, like Haiti.

WaterStep wanted to push the message of shoe donation so they can turn them into clean water for kids. The box truck would arrive at a designated location and collect shoes from local shoe drives by the community. By driving this truck around town, the vehicle wrap was essentially a moving billboard to promote shoe donations.

The system WaterStep uses is very basic in its construction. That way, they can teach the residents of a community how to repair their system and keep it running after the WaterStep staff leaves. The system is very affordable, and it has saved many lives.

For us, it was really great to get them a wrap. The image we wrapped onto their vehicle includes one of kids drinking fresh water and it was a beautiful image. The vehicle wrap helped to promote a better life for others in another country, and knowing that we helped with that, knowing that we made a difference, was amazing.

We actually ended up donating this vehicle wrap to WaterStep because we felt strongly that this would be helpful and giving back to the community. WaterStep is local to Louisville, but they have worked in many countries around the world. We're proud to help them however we can.
