Local Spotlight: Gandy's Garden Sign

In 2014, Gandy's Garden was born out of a deep concern for the future of produce availability and pricing in South Carolina as a result of the megadrought on the west coast, where a large percentage of our produce is sourced from. Weatherman Jim Gandy recognized a lack of gardening knowledge among local viewers and took it upon himself to educate the community on how to grow their own food. Despite his retirement from WLTX in recent years, Gandy's Garden remains a vital resource for gardening enthusiasts. This year, we were privileged to collaborate with the WLTX News team to unveil a fresh new post and panel logo sign.
