Annual Banner Replacement for Animal Rescue Rhode Island
Jan 11, 2026 by Signarama - North Kingstown Team
Annual Banner Replacement for Animal Rescue Rhode Island Featuring Dexter the Cat
Supporting local nonprofits is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and we were proud to partner once again with Animal Rescue Rhode Island for its annual banner replacement project. This year’s update included a vibrant double-sided “Welcome” and “Goodbye” banner, proudly featuring their 2026 mascot, Dexter the Cat.
Located at the facility entrance road, this banner plays an important role in greeting visitors, volunteers, and potential adopters - while reinforcing the organization's warm, caring mission from the moment people arrive.
A Fresh Look for a New Year:
Each year, Animal Rescue Rhode Island updates its exterior banner to keep messaging current, friendly, and visually engaging. For 2026, the focus was on creating a welcoming experience that felt personal and memorable.
The new banner design highlights:
- A friendly “Welcome” message on one side to greet visitors as they arrive
- A cheerful “Goodbye” message on the reverse side for guests as they leave
- Their 2026 mascot, Dexter, front and center to create an emotional connection and reinforce brand recognition
Using a double-sided banner ensures the message is visible from multiple directions, maximizing exposure while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.
Durable Banner Built for Year-Round Use
Because this banner remains installed outdoors year-round, durability was a top priority. We produced the banner using high-quality materials designed to withstand changing New England weather conditions while maintaining color vibrancy and readability.
This approach helps Animal Rescue Rhode Island:
- Maintain a polished, professional exterior
- Avoid frequent replacements
- Ensure their message looks great day after day
An annual banner replacement schedule allows the organization to refresh their look without sacrificing consistency.
Cleaning and Securing the Existing Structure
In addition to printing and installing the new banner, our team cleaned the existing posts and secured the banner structure. Over time, outdoor posts can collect dirt, debris, and wear that detracts from the overall presentation.
By addressing the structure itself, we ensured:
- A clean, well-maintained appearance
- A secure installation that holds up to wind and weather
- A longer lifespan for both the banner and the posts
This extra attention to detail helps nonprofit organizations get the most value from their signage investment.
Why Annual Banner Updates Matter for Nonprofits
For animal shelters and rescue organizations, first impressions matter. Clear, welcoming signage helps create a positive emotional experience for visitors—many of whom may be meeting a future pet for the first time.
An updated banner:
- Reinforces trust and professionalism
- Enhances the visitor experience
- Keeps branding current and engaging
- Supports ongoing adoption and fundraising efforts
Featuring a recognizable mascot like Dexter the Cat adds personality and warmth, making the organization more approachable and memorable.
Proud to Support Our Local Community
