In our final weekly post highlighting the signs we created for the largest Powerhouse location in the world, we will showcase the impressive exterior signage. The exterior signage features three sets of channel letters situated on the North, East, and West sides of the building, along with an eye-catching window graphic displaying their logo prominently on the north side.
Pan Built Raceway Mounted Channel Letters
For the northern facade, we designed a big set of front-lit channel letters, over 40 inches tall. During our building survey, we realized that flush mounting these letters wasn't feasible on that side due to structural limitations. To ensure durability and stability, we opted to fabricate a 16-inch tall pan that would serve as a raceway for the mounting process. We took extra care to paint the pan in a color that perfectly matched the building, ensuring a seamless integration with the overall design.
Flush Mounted Channel Letters
On the East and West sides, we constructed two additional sets of flush-mounted channel letters, each standing at 65 inches tall with stacked 30 inches tall letters. These individually mounted letters were affixed directly to the building's facade, providing a clean and professional appearance. The front-lit feature of these letters ensures high visibility, making them an inviting sight for visitors even during nighttime hours.
Window Graphics
Additionally, the window graphics installed on the northern facade were not just standard decals: they were applied to windows positioned over 12 feet above ground level. Despite the challenges that come with such height, our fearless installation team confidently maneuvered using a forklift to position the iconic Powerhouse muscle man graphic with precision.
