A Sign Worthy of Award-Winning Nurses: Ireland Army Health Clinic Daisy Award Wall

This custom DAISY Award wall display is more than a recognition board—it’s a layered, dimensional tribute to the award-winning nurses who serve at Ireland Army Health Clinic. Designed, fabricated, and assembled entirely in-house by our team, this project showcases the craftsmanship and production capabilities of our sign shop while honoring excellence in patient care. At first glance, the display captures attention with its vibrant, full-color background featuring a soft sky gradient and a field of daisies—an intentional nod to the meaning behind The DAISY Award. The calming imagery sets a tone of compassion and hope, reinforcing the heart of the award itself: celebrating extraordinary nurses who provide exceptional care. What truly elevates this installation is its multi-layered acrylic construction. The foundation panel is precision-cut polished acrylic, reverse-printed with high-resolution graphics for depth and durability. The surface is finished with custom beveled edges, creating a refined, glass-like appearance that enhances the professional setting of the clinic. Mounted over the background are multiple layers of clear and frosted acrylic panels, each elevated using brushed metal standoffs. These dimensional elements create visual separation and depth while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The raised lettering for “THE DAISY AWARD” adds further sophistication, standing proud from the surface and catching light throughout the day. Individual nameplates are mounted in organized columns, designed for easy updates as new nurses are recognized. The layout balances flexibility with permanence—allowing the clinic to celebrate future award recipients while maintaining a cohesive and elegant presentation. On the right side, layered acrylic panels frame the official award description and the current honoree’s photo, again mounted with standoffs for a consistent dimensional effect. Every detail—from the polished edges and precision drilling to the alignment of standoffs and layered panels—was completed in our sign shop. This in-house production allowed us to control quality at every stage: design consultation, material selection, print production, CNC cutting, bevel finishing, and final assembly. The result is a seamless installation that reflects both craftsmanship and care. More than just a sign, this DAISY Award wall serves as a daily reminder of the compassion, dedication, and excellence displayed by the nurses at Ireland Army Health Clinic. It transforms a hallway into a space of recognition and pride—celebrating the individuals who make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Projects like this highlight the power of dimensional signage to tell a story. Through layered acrylic, custom beveling, and precision mounting, we created a permanent tribute worthy of the award-winning care it represents—all built right here in our shop.
