The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is one of many public health crises we will face in our lifetime. But with the right minds on the job and plenty of collaboration, we can create a world that’s up to the challenge of meeting them. It’s in uncertain times that innovation is most important and most needed. 

When our store owners were tasked with developing new ways to utilize their resources and equipment, they rose to the occasion. We have received dozens of messages from store owners showcasing their products that were uniquely created for essential businesses in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19. These advances show the great things that can happen when sign expertise and product innovation are brought together.

Here are a few highlights:

Personal Barriers

Also known as plexiglass screen dividers, sneeze guards, splash guards, and droplet screens, this unique protection equipment has become a staple for most service and essential businesses. Plexiglass barriers help keep employees, guests and customers protected from germs and viruses such as Coronavirus (COVID-19) and can be easily moved or transported to new locations within the store or business.

Floor Graphics

With social distancing protocols top of mind, grocery stores and other retail businesses are finding new ways to serve customers safely. Floor graphics and decals have taken on a new purpose to serve as distance markers between guests, patients and customers.

Floor decals can be made for virtually any flooring surface, such as tile, carpet, or concrete, and even some materials that can be repositioned and reused. Floor graphics and floor decals are slip resistant as well as scratch and scuff resistant for high traffic areas.

Face Shields

Many of our Signarama locations have started fabricating face shields for use by the medical community. With protective masks in shortage, plexiglass face shields have become the necessary added protection for healthcare workers and the medical community. They provide additional protection to the eyes which is also a point of contact for germs and diseases.

Rainbows of Hope

Signs are for more than advertising or sharing business messages, they can be used to spread kindness and hope. Signarama Troy, MI owner created multiple storefront signs with inspiring messages of thanks for first responders and medical professionals. 

Rainbows of Hope, signs with illustrations of rainbows, have filled neighborhood windows to inspire and uplift communities. Children walk the blocks looking for and counting rainbows throughout their journey.
