The job included 25 different Verizon stores throughout the Orlando area. Of course, it was all coordinated with, and approved by, the Verizon corporate office. We made sure we had the right logos, colors, dimensions, and overall branding. Signarama regularly works with corporate designers and marketers to ensure we meet branding standards. We're also able to share this kind of information among different Signarama stores, so national brands can be assured of consistency throughout the country.

Additionally, all of this new signage had to occur at the same time, which meant we had to create the signs quickly. We were quite busy that week, averaging 9 – 10 signs per store and maintaining our current customer load and their orders.

Since the new signage was quite different from the old version, we created several different backlit display signs in several different sizes in order to best convey the new graphic to the public.

In fact, we created 3 to 4 different sizes of backlit signs, up to the standard 8 feet by 8 feet. We also created 9 inch by 15 feet acrylic polycarbonate panels on top of their slat wall with matte black vinyl and cutout letters. We designed these signs specifically so the light would shine through and create a brilliant backlit effect.

These signs were created strictly for interior display, which gave us a little more freedom with the materials, since they were not going to be regularly exposed to the elements. Additionally, by choosing the polycarbonate material over the standard vinyl, the sign could be seamless while still maintaining its large design, all while keeping costs lower.
