We decided to say yes to any project, no matter how unusual, and we would figure out how to do it. It's led to some very interesting projects from the county, state, and even around the country. Our Signarama store has grown quite a bit in the last 12 years as a result.

Bronze Plaque: The College of Charleston is a little over an hour away. They wanted us to create an eight foot cast bronze plaque to hang in their main lecture hall. We worked closely with our vendor as well as the College to create a huge, round seal they could be proud of. The vendor had never made something that big, but we were able to help them figure out how it could be done, and the College was very happy with the end result.

Beer Cave Wrap: In addition to wrapping vehicles and even boats, we've been asked to wrap several beer caves inside convenience stores. A beer cave is a refrigerated cooler found in a supermarket, convenience store, or liquor store. We used a high performance vinyl, since the wrap is in a high traffic area. We're able to customize beer caves for brand names, stores, or promotional campaigns. We can use see-through vinyl or solid vinyl, depending on the customer’s needs.

A Bulletproof Sign? Speaking of convenience stores, we were once asked by a liquor store to help them create a bulletproof booth. We were able to not only provide them with thick sheets of see-through Lexan, but we also built and installed the entire frame. It was our first sign that wasn't a sign.

Flame Retardant Vinyl and Race Tracks: That wasn't our only sign that wasn't a sign. Our Signarama store once provided a flame retardant vinyl banner for the Charlotte Motor Speedway to protect the race track. That's because the World's Longest Grill was going to sit on it, and they needed to protect the asphalt from any grease that might have spilled onto the asphalt. We provided the vinyl, but didn't need to do any printing on it.

Working at Signarama has been a fun challenge. While we do all types of signs, just like any other Signarama store, we really enjoy the unusual challenges that come our way.
