As automakers race to create their next line of cars and models, they invest in a lot of testing and research to be launch a great product and have it be first on the market. Research and development divisions of these giant automakers are responsible for making sure everything works. And the automakers want to keep the people who work at the R&D facilities to proudly proclaim who they are and what they do.

Hyundai is one such local automaker. Previously located in Farmington, the research arm of Hyundai moved offices to Plymouth, Michigan, and took over a large existing warehouse facility.

However, it wasn't up to their specifications, so they renovated this huge building into a modern structure. Hyundai also enlisted Signarama's help to up the creative aspect of their new facility.

Our Signarama professionals devised a plan for their lobby, including 3-D lettering behind the reception desk, as well as in their conference room. Additionally, all the offices contain large panes of glass to further give off a sense of modernism. And to add a bit of privacy to these glass pane enclosures, we applied vinyl directly onto the glass to create an etched glass aesthetic.

To carry their new theme outside, Signarama created corresponding LED-lit acrylic channel letter signs for the building exterior using PMS colors matching Hyundai's corporate colors. Since logo colors represent the company's brand, it's important to get those colors absolutely correct.

In the past, it could be difficult to find the exact color of a logo and to replicate it on marketing materials. Now, Signarama simply requests the logo file and the exact PMS colors. The printer can then replicate the color using the PMS color code to match the logo's colors exactly.

And in the end, the company gets a sign that matches their corporate colors, and proudly displays their brand and identity to everyone who comes into the building.
