“One of the key objectives was to ensure the wall graphics were visually impactful while representing the history and culture that the university identifies with.” said Sean Murphy of Signarama Orem.

The Kennedy Center’s ideas were very creative, especially the graphics of famous fountains that became the background for the drinking fountains or the iconic, red telephone booth surrounding the office phone hanging on the wall.

There was one minor challenge. The Kennedy Center had just repainted their walls and they were worried about damage from installing and removing a temporary wall mural for fundraising. We tested a section of the wall by installing a piece of vinyl and removing it a few days later. The vinyl came off easily and with no damage to the wall. Everyone was amazed at how clean the wall looked after the final wall mural came down 3 months later.

Make sure to do an on-site check and discuss wall construction and surface textures. This will help determine which product and installation technique to use.
