Terry Lott, Sr. and his father-in-law took over the 2,500 square foot store in 1999; Terry Jr. joined in 2001, after earning a marketing degree, and took over the day-to-day operations. Their store is one of the few minority-owned stores in the U.S., and the only African-American owned Signarama.

By then, Signarama Everett was a firm fixture in the community, and they strengthened their stronghold when Terry Jr. joined. By working in the business for six or seven years beforehand, Terry was able to learn the ins and outs of how a Signarama store operates.

Terry has worked to make their store an eco-friendly print shop and is looking forward to streamlining their processes to make the sign business even more efficient. Another change in the works is to move a few doors down to a larger facility that offers more visibility and fits their needs better.

Through the years, Signarama Everett established themselves as a 100% custom design shop, which means they are completely versatile in creating exactly what the customer needs. They do all jobs from the $50 job to the $50,000 jobs, and enjoy helping their community.

They are also in the process of starting their Signarama Sports division, geared toward local youth sports programs. They'll offer products like trophies, banners, helmet decals, and eventually jerseys.

One of the more recent orders the company completed is the full office setup. This type of order typically comes about when a company relocates, and needs new directional signage, parking signs, front door package, and other location specific signs. Sometimes this may include new letterhead and business cards as well.

They also create a lot of direct print PVC signs, direct print aluminum signs, and engraving. They prints pylon signs, channel letter LED signs, and three dimensional, non-electrical letter signs as well.
